thought id ask here, see if anyone can help, how do you make these synths in Serum?

1) at 0:44


2) at 0:59


these sound really good, if anyone can let me know how to make these in serum or share some presets to learn from that would be amazing

the 1st sounds like an organ and percusion mixed, adjust the envelopes for the osc volume then the amp. 2nd sounds like a detuned saws and square with a sub bass...

 

1) Do you mean the reversed snippet of the same sound?

Edit: Make sure you use lowpass filter envelope (and/or amplitude envelope conjunction) and adjust attack time (to get the swell) and decay/sustain time (to set the sustaining to taste). Play around with wavetable oscillator(s) to get the tonal quality that you want.Then add reverb. Bounce to audio.

The specific audio at 0:44 is just a reversed snippet of this sound, where the sound is ringing out and has some reverb. The reversal (with maybe additional fade-in) will add to the "sucking in" feeling. It is also pan-automated (moving from left to right) to add some movement.

yep

it just chord's with big big reverb then he gate it ,
in order to achieve like brief effect
he bounce it in place
then manually he create in couple. place cut off to the simple chords .

the first method
1. create the chords
2. put on it big reverb
3. put gate
4. bounce in place
5. cut off couple places in from the simple chords
done !

the second method
1. create the chords
2. bounce it in place
3. reverse the simple chords
5.put reverb on the reversed simple chords
6.bounce it in place
7.put gate or create in some places manually cut off of the simple chords
done!
