Whats up everyone. This is my first post I believe, and I felt like this is a good place to start off. Just a short 'about me'... I make metal and electronic music, ive been in many bands and I just delved into the world of DJing, but I have been writing and producing for years. I have 2 releases coming out soon: a full length beastly death metal album to come out this winter, and an electronic EP that delves into heavy bass music, to trip hop/glitch hop, and deep house/trance.

How do I feel about my music? I feel like i have definitely improved in the past few years in all of my recordings and productions, but there is always room to move forward, evolve and stuff.

And depending on what genre I am making determines why I make that music. When it comes to my metal, I make that to send a message about how I feel about humanity, social and political views, and to get out immense amounts of anger that I acquire throughout my daily life. And when it comes to my electronic productions, those more often than not express just my general mood when I start the track, and then I build off of it.

And yeah I would like to go somewhere with my productions, and get known and everything, but thats not my main goal. If I can express my views to just one person and have them understand the meaning of the song, or have one of my songs grasp him/her emotionally then my mission is complete.

I cant see myself stopping with music... I have made music my career as risky as that is, and I will keep going until I die.

    Cheers all. :headbang:

Why do you even make music?
Because I love music and i wanna do something different to the other guys (höhö) ... in fact I don't like watching TV all the time or playing computer games etc.
I like the act of creating something. Music is for me the only way to achieve this, because I'm really untalented in painting/drawing or writing or anything like that. Thanks to the modern DAWs and all the nice plugins and stuff I can compensate my lack of talent in playing an instrument.
Yeah, and I like those happy accidents that push my creativity..

Is it still the same reason who made you start producing music?
Not really. I started to make some sequencer stuff just to conserve some ideas I couldn't fulfill with my school (rock) band ... now it's more a struggle between getting a modern sound and avoiding mainstream character..

Where do you wanna go with your music?
The holy grail is something like earning some money (fame) while conserving the joy at experimenting ...and getting a phat sound without a bunch of high-end mixing/mastering devices.

Can you even think of stopping???
    I guess not. :snuffy: :grooves:

Why do you even make music?

    I thought it was cool.

Is it still the same reason that made you start producing music?

I don't even know why I'm doing this...

Where do you wanna go with your music?

I don't have a choice in that. Right now I'm clearly going to hell.

Can you even think of stopping???

I've stopped now, but tommorow I will start again...fml.

The sad part about me answering these questions is that I'm not even kidding...
