Hey guys...I'm new to the blog. I was wondering how I use, extract, or play the sounds I DL'd from the site. It says its opening as a MOVIE file and I obviously need it as wavs or aiffs. All help will be greatly appreciated.

If the DVD has been properly packed the content is most likely bin/cue files, simply extract it to your HD and burn the image to dvd.
However the best option in my opinion is to use Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120.. with these you can mount the bin/cue without burning...
Once you mount the image it will appear as a virtual drive... with these tools you can mount (up to) as many images as you have spare dive letters.
ie daemon tools lite (free) 4x image, pro standard x16, pro advanced up to x32... similar deal for alcohol 120

The bin file contains the goodies you're after , either use daemon to open in a virtual drive (start / Computer /) or burn directly to disk (using imgburn or cdburnerXP or similar for example)

You may also be able to extract using winrar

 

I suppose you're talking about Bin/Cue or ISOs. These need to be mounted and as has already been said Daemon tools or Alcohol will do it but they are problematic applications that are a hassle to set up and take over your computer. A FAR better alternative is a free app called Virtual Clone Drive which is easily downloaded and installed. All you have to do is right click on your file and select Mount with Virtual Clone Drive. Then you can run an installer or simply copy the samples/loops to a destination of your choice

That is my choice... Earlier I use Deamon tools, but in W7 64bit I have some problems so I choose Alchohol

 

Deamon tools it´s free and very easy to use never failed for me
And Nikon i also have Win 7 64 bit have you tried the lates version i had to dl it the earlier version did not work as good.
I also have Magic ISO anstalled "just in case" and for daa files i use Power ISO.

 

idk why you people waste your time with someone who doesn't know how to use a search engine.
especially with something as trivial as this.
