Hey I think I need some sort of software to live stream my DAW and sound right? Then I need another camera to show me talking or something? Can someone explain how to do this.. I am going to start having my own show and produce live and do live remixing and hope to get my name out there a little.

 

Well OBS can do the trick if you want to stream on Twitch for example. Pretty flexible for video but doesn't support Asio. But you can instead use Voxengo Recorder (http://www.voxengo.com/product/recorder/) on your master bus to send the audio to an unused output of your computer, and pick the same output in OBS.

 

Do you have ideas for at least 20 episodes to begin with? Then you can start thinking about streaming technical details - which will be specific to streaming platform itself.

 

Let's see so far I have Remixes, Originals, Live DJ shows, DJ Mixes, Tutorials.. I am just wondering how to do the tutorials because I need to record me in my DAW and a camera on me speaking. And I also need to figure out the live streaming of my DAW + me obviously.. This is stuff is so overwhelming.

 

Another big question is your Computer good enough to handle it all. Daw(Plugins), Streaming software and webcam all CPU intensive.

 

Moreover you don't really have to show your face ! When using music software, that's not the most important thing that people want to see ;)

 

just install obs, connect a cam and try this piece of software it is very user friendly.

my soundcard supports internal routing, so i routed my daw output to a virtual input and utilized a mic in my Daw.
and if you want my opinion, I don't think a cam should be pointed at your head but rather at your fingers
