How Do i Set up the Sidechain with Native instruments VC 2A in Cubase 5 it is driving me crazy i cant figure it out and i can find any detailed instructions any were there is No Sidechain Button at the Top of the VC 2A Plugin so it shows up in the Sends part in the channel if some one can Help that would be great thanks

 

You need to click the button on the VC2A to enable sidechain, then on whatever track you want to feed the sidechain with, you would make a send on that track and route the send to the VC2A, which should show up in the list of things to send to. And then you should probably send full volume to the VC2A and use the sidechain gain knob on there to adjust the amount. Didn't do it in Cubase, but just did it in Studio One and it worked fine, I'm sure Cubase has basically the same workflow...
