put guitar rig as an insert on KOntakt track in your DAW AFAIK you cant put it "in" Kontakt or you can send audio to an FX track with. guitar rig there which is nice if you wanna blend the kontakt and effected tone

    Hope that. helps

just did a quick google search and got this......

No, you cannot directly run Guitar Rig inside Kontakt; however, you can effectively achieve a similar result by using Guitar Rig as a separate plugin within your DAW and then routing the audio output from Guitar Rig into Kontakt as an external input, allowing you to process the guitar sounds through Kontakt's sample library and effects.
    Key points to remember:
    • Guitar Rig is a standalone application and plugin:
This means you can use it independently or insert it as a plugin within your DAW, like Ableton Live or Logic Pro.
    • Kontakt is a sampler:
It primarily functions as a platform to play back sampled sounds, not as a full-fledged effects processor like Guitar Rig.

How to achieve the desired effect:
    • Load Guitar Rig as a plugin in your DAW:
Insert the Guitar Rig plugin on an audio track within your DAW.
    • Record your guitar through Guitar Rig:
Play your guitar through the Guitar Rig interface to apply desired amp and effects modeling.
    • Route the output to Kontakt:
Send the audio output from the Guitar Rig track in your DAW to a new track where you have Kontakt loaded.
    • Use Kontakt as a sound shaping tool:
Within Kontakt, select a suitable sample library and use its effects and features to further shape the sound of your processed guitar.

Whatever you're using to host Kontakt should either allow inserting GR as an effect or routing Kontakt's output to GR.

    Your question is ambiguous.

    - You want to play your guitar live: Use Guitar Rig (the plugin/standalone).

    - You have pre-recorded DI: a) Use Guitar Rig (the plugin) OR b) Create a new instrument in Kontakt, put the DI recording on a key, use MIDI to trigger playback, use the wrench symbol in Kontakt to add the effects from Guitar Rig to your instrument ("Main Effects" for example).

    - You have a Kontakt instrument you want to add Guitar Rig effects to: a) Use Guitar Rig (the plugin) OR b) Use the wrench symbol on your Kontakt instrument to add Guitar Rig effects.

    - You have a non-Kontakt instrument you want to add Guitar Rig effects to: Use Guitar Rig (the plugin).
