How do i import audio into digital audio performer 11 ?

    So i cant find any tutorials on youtube those that are avaliable are from ancient versions i just want to import an audio track and pitch shift it dragging from a folder doesnt work neither does the import audio feature

    Motu Digital Performer 11 manual --> https://motu.com/en-us/techsupport/manuals/

    Import the WAV or AIFF into DP using File / Import Audio, or by dragging the file from your file browser into the left side of the Tracks window. DP will automatically create a new track matching the channel format of the imported file.

    Hey thanks for answering all i have to do was import the audio and press shift and r and a browser came up and let me drag the track to the sequencer
