I got Keyscape a long time ago and just tried to install it on another computer, but it seems like all I have are the sound files, not the actual installer itself. It took me forever to download 70 individual 1GB rar files to get Keyscape, I'd rather not have to do that again since I already have them.

Can anyone tell me how I can get the installer for Keyscape the program without the 70GB sound files coming with it?

I downloaded it and it's showing in my DAW but I have a couple of questions if you have a minute.

1. In the text file for my keyscape library, it tells me to place the data base files in STEAM/Keyscape/Soundsources/Factory/Keyscape Library/Keyboards, but I don't have this file set up. Inside of the Keyscape folder that's in STEAM, I have 2 folders, Defaults and Settings Library. Neither of them have the folders mentioned in the instructions.

2. Keyscape is unauthorized. It doesn''t give me a response code, it tells me I have to request authorization from Spectrasonics website to get it. The file I downloaded didn''t come with a keygen and I can't use the one from Omnisphere because Keyscape doesn't give me a response code.

You need an older version of keyscape that will show a challenge code. Or you can just run it inside omni. if you want just the earlier app (not lib), I'd check rutracker torrent and then on the contents tab on your torrent client, uncheck the lib files so they don't download.

As far as the other question, if the libs aren't loading once installed properly, you may need to re-download and place where you want it and then direct keyscape to that folder in keyscape's settings.

but I'd probably just try to use Keyscape within Omni now. It will be easier.

 

The instructions that came with it say: "So 1. unpack keyscape and copy it into Steam folder. Than copy the db files in STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library\Keyboards" -- That's all it says.

But those folders don't exist in my STEAM folder for Keyscape. So I have all the files, I'm just not sure where to place them.

Since I can't open Keyscape I can't change the settings, unless I can do it inside Omnisphere.
