This line, contains the VST ID.

So it means that what you posted, contains a license for the plugin "IPSy"



Which seems to match the ID of the MultiOut version.

Editing the plugin ID of a .dll file is really easy. Maybe you can simply change the ID to the ID of some bundled plugin and it... might work.

Or maybe not, again, this sounds really stupid but, what if...

 

yes I worked out the "IPSy" thing earlier on, but what you said makes sense and could work, but im still building my test rig so dont have a PCIe slot for my card just yet to try :/

You'd need to edit the plugin itself, not the license file.
As I said, maybe the protection is poor and you can actually fool it and make it believe you're running a generic plugin.

 

Makes sense unless it checks the file size etc, but then again it is 16 odd years old so could have really crap protection

 

Yes, of course, if there's any kind of signature verification, this idea won't work at all. Or if the .dll itself is looking for some specific instructions that doesn't receive back from the device.

It's worth a try though.
