Right click on the hosts file -> open with notepad -> enter the lines without #, i.e 127.0.0.1 www.r2rdownload.com -> ctrl+s -> Done
If you happen to save as .txt, just click on the files and remove the .txt from it
You can also use 3rd party products like Windows Hosts File Editor

He might have to right-click notepad & "Run as Administrator" (unless already logged in as admin), or win won't let him save it.

si tu utilises zonealarm comme firewall, par défaut en s'installant il "protège" le fichier et empêche toute modif' ,
il faut aller décocher une case dans les paramètres de ZA, sinon, impossible de modifier le fichier host

 

In English: Just in case, if you are using Zonealarm Firewall Antivirus, it protects you host file by default. So you need to change this in the option page, otherwise, you cant modify it.
This may be the same with other antivirus...
