Thanks. Anyone have an opinion on this one? Hornet Plugins are in a low price segment so I assume this won't hold a candle to similar emulations. Or does it?

 

Price is much lower than quality.
Hype is much lower than price.
Very underrated. Some plugins are buggy, but imho these bugs are old and already fixed.
Btw. Tape plugin is very high quality tape emulation. Sw34eqMk2 is also very good plugin. Some other stuff is fine too, such as ThirtyOne eq, spectrum balancer. All saturations, channel strips, compressors are superb, they have vibe, mojo, analog dirt. Also like AnalogStage. Sometimes use Sybilla deesers. Digitally, not measured for cramping filters or aliasing, but I have never seen anybody complaining. Mostly positive comments about them. Simply: High quality algos. Tried them - I liked, almost never had any problems, maybe couple of bugs and crashes happened - imho all fixed.
Try also their meters, utility tools, delays, eqs...
Recommended.

Will check out their other plugins. I like how they don't have any copy protection. That's my kind of dev.

 

I really appreciate the share. I always liked this EQ since v1 came out. It has a vibe to it and it saturates nicely. Haven't used it in years so installed the demo of v2 a week ago just to check out if I still like it and to compare it to bx ssl console E. Not a fair comparison but still, the sw34 adds a certain color that might be disreable. I think this is a slept on gem.

Maybe they have too much traffic on their site...!?
I never used Hornet-VST, so, maybe I am missing something?

There Is an Ad-link and actual product link*.
I made an account and added the EQ on the product page. On the "my card" page after some clicking, I type'd in the voucher code and checked out. That's it!
Still, no E-Mail from them!?

Add to card, apply coupon, etc. Need info on site (email, password...), you may get the wrong non-working link (see email messages), but go to website again, log in, go to MyAccount (bottom of the page), you will see links. Links working. So, shortly, email links do not work, see MyAccount page of HoRNet website. It is there, but only after added/coupon-applied product.

I am going to get this - and I'm going to buy their brand new Total EQ for 27.99 euros - because it is a FAB killer if you know what I mean - just as a big middle finger to Fab for all that white noise on Q3...
