I miss @Pinkman. He was is a fountain of knowledge and a really cool guy..

 

I was actually thinking of Pinkman recently and noticed that he hasn't posted anything of late!
I enjoy his posts as they are always well thought out and considered.

Hey Spyfxmk2 I'm just getting the jist of this mate. Why are you feeling the need to leave such a great community?

 

It's because of me. I asked him what label his ep and single were on in his thread, and when ignored, I made a parody post which probably wasn't necessary and in hindsight I sort of regret, even though it garnered no mod activity or sanction nor negative feed back from members (in fact I had a large number of plays on SC, possible my most ever in a day).

After he gave me some not so subtle hits in his thread, and probably because of the lack of mod action, he took it the chat feed where we had a bit of to and fro and was very aggressive and threatening to get me banned, bullying with the dislike button etc. This is all in the archive so no need to post it all here.

Ultimately it was proffered by me that we accept it as part of the learning experience and move on. Then he made to cancel his account which, from memory, he has done previously when in dispute with another member. I've given plenty of opportunities for us to come to some sort of understanding, including this thread, to no avail.

While part of me thinks it's all a great over reaction and possibly self serving, I still hold out the proverbial olive branch.

 

So you gotta let me know!....... Will you cool it or will you blow?

Hey Judge, I guess I missed that thread mate. You know we all get a bit riled up and crazy from time to time. We fall out with certain members over silly remarks sometimes. Some of us are sensitive souls and bear the weight more heavily than the average guy but there's no real need to leave this wonderful sight over a falling out with a single member. It's like cutting our nose of to spite our face. I'm sure Spyfx will reconsider his position once he has rationalised it in his own mind! We have a good community among the regulars here and I, for one intend to stay. Cheers mate!

 

I agree with everything in your post, bruv. I even left once myself over a member and absolutely understand the cause/effect thing.

Hopefully everything will work itself out in the end.

 

@Spyfxmk2 come on man grab the proverbial olive branch.
disagreements and fall outs happen. most of the time its a misunderstanding anyway. people say and do things that can easily be misinterpreted. doesn't matter who is wrong or right in the grand scheme of things.
the forum matters most and one less member is a member lost for its benefit.

 

Yeah I agree. I stopped posting for a while myself about a year back because of my own stupid pride. We live and learn mate!

 

Especially a member who contributes and is a regular active participant.

 

After all, we're human. Take everything so serious in a moment and the other day laugh at it. The best natural mechanism is consigning all the displeasures and annoyances to oblivion.
