    Hello,

    Im looking for a method for extracting a HLS stream from a website. I tried with VideoDownloadHelper but it does not work.

    you mean Internet Download Manager ?
    It's especially SYNTHiC4TE or HiDERA which post HLS videos on the site, I tried in vain to join them

    There are effective scripts for Tampermonkey / Greasemonkey Firefox plugin, BUT first have a try with this site, it worked for me most of times, even with sites that require registration:
