Where to find good instrumentals for listening?

    any advice is welcome...

I'm not an hip hop guy but I'm going to like it more and more.

right now I've only found "50 cent Before I Self Destruct -The Instrumentals"

it's good but I prefer his earlier works... the massacre and get rich...

gunit instrumentals are quite good, isn't it? like this style...

any suggestions? download links? mediafire? zippyshare?

    how I like internet :) :*

hope to see something on audioZ feed soon.

    +1 for Dilla

if you want something with a more electronic feel, look for RJD2

for that old school, cut n' paste sampled vibe check out DJ Premier, Havoc, RZA or Ant of Atmosphere

For cool percussion and bouncy styles, Timbaland and Neptunes/Pharrell are a good choice

Dr. Dre - I don't believe he really makes the beats, but the stuff with his name on it is all great. Funky West Coast vibe. DJ Quik is great for West Coast funk too

There's as many kinds of hip hop as EDM.

Of all people, Dilla's stuff should be bought. He never made loads of money and his surviving family are struggling. Buy his albums etc...

his legacy and genius deserve it...

Check out some Aussie hip hop for something a bit different.
Namely, 360, Bliss n Esso, Hilltop Hoods, Pez and my fav, Seth Sentry.
Particularly his track "Dear Science" awesome stuff

I really don't. I haven't rapped over commercial instrumentals in ages. I never felt right about trying to make an impression while using already-known work.

@Vince Bramich it's a pleasure to find another underground hip hop head on a board so populated with electonic music heads! Not that there's anything wrong with that. Over the last two years I've developed a deep love for some electronic stuff. Especially glitchy, dirty stuff like ill.Gates or some faaawnky shit like Opiuo - an Aussie like yourself if I recall.

You seem to be a fan of that positive, sort of nostalgic vibe stuff. I grew up on that shit! My music has taken a darker turn in recent years (as art has a nasty habit of imitating life) but Brother Ali has been a lifelong favorite of mine. If you don't know this one already, it's RIGHT up your alley

another favorite of mine with the same vibe

I've known 360 for a long while as a result of his popularity in the international battle scene. Hilltop Hoods are internationally known to underground heads as well. The others are new to me. That Seth Sentry track has a fuckin great vibe man.

Hell yeah they're def right up my alley though to be honest I'm not as in to hip hop anywhere near as much as I like it. I'm a fan of all music, well, almost. I didn't realise how much I missed hip hop until recently. Basketball was my main passion growing up and in the 90s/00s that went hand in hand with anything from Bone Thugs to Westside Connection to Destiny's Child. Then I fell in love with hard trance and some of the more filthy beats. But recently a local radio station started doing RnB fridays to kick off the weekend and I'm hooked once more.

As for the guys I mentioned, it's funny to think of them as underground. Despite growing up with most of them living just down the road, for a long time they've been huge names in music over hear. Especially Bliss n Esso and Hilltop Hoods. They'll Both draw the biggest crowd of the day at any one of our biggest festivals instead of Avicci, Calvin Harris, etc
