So, I have a bit of a problem, I hope this is the correct forum. Essentially, due to some problems, I had to reinstall windows and format my drive. All my project files for my DAW are fine, and all I'm doing is reinstalling all the software I had on the SSD(most of it was on the HDD). Addictive Drums was on the SSD before wiping it. I'm upgrading from a version I installed back in like 2016 titled "XLN.Audio.Addictive.Drums.2.v2.0.7.Complete.HAPPY.NEW.YEAR-R2R.". It seems the files installed fine, but when I open old projects, it doesn't open the correct library. So, for example, if I was using the jazz library, with some specific settings before, or the indie one, etc, now all my projects open with the default Fairfax library. Is there a way to have it open the correct library I was working with before and fix this? For reference, my DAW is Reaper

I believe you need the 2.17 version which is out there somewhere.

I see. If this is the only way, I suppose I'll get a previous version. As long as it has the same amount of libraries, I suppose it doesn't matter. Is this a common problem? How might I be able to tell in the future before upgrading whether a new version will work or not?

    It does.

keyd v2.1.9 is a bit tricky to install.

Beforehand, not at all. But you could wait and let others (hopefully more experienced members) try it.

I have no problems with AD2 V2.1.9. in Logic 10.5.1. on Mojave. I forget which version I had prior to it, but I did not run into your issue. I am sure this is because I would have used some combination of Codesigner, BatChmod and Permissions Reset 2 to get it working. Running on an administrator enabled account.

HTH. I had also read these instructions that someone posted first, but also I had to manually create the folders to put the generated license into.

    Steps:

    0. Uninstall previous versions.
    01. Mount the ISO.
    02. Copy the Library folder “Addictive Drums 2” to : /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/ ***I had to create this "XLN Audio" folder first.
    03. Copy the “XLN Audio” application folder and its contents to your applications. example: Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2
    04. Copy the plugins to their respective locations (VST + Components) Do not deviate.
    05. Run Batchmod to repair the XO application file (all permissions boxes checked for all users)
    06. Run and close the Stand Alone App one time. (This creates a log file)
    07. Locate the log file in: (User DIR) ~/Library/Logs/Addictive Drums 2 Logs/
    08. Open the latest log file and find "ComputerID", then copy its numbered text.
    09. Run included “XLN_KeyGen.exe” on Windows (or Mac if you know how).
    10. Input ComputerID you copied from the log file in step 08 into keygen.
    11. Click "Generate (OSX)" on keygen & save license in an easy to find place.
    12. Move the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to the location below.
    /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/

    Notes:
If you already have other XLN items installed then a "LicensesOI" file will already exist on your drive. Replace it with the newly generated LicenseOI file. Your other XLN items will still work, at least mine did. *****I could not confirm this note because the old LicenseOI file for my previous version of addictive drums was in a different location altogether.
    Logic Users:
You must open Terminal and paste this code to get AU to pass validation:
    sudo codesign -f -s - #filepathto/Addictive Drums 2.component
    Example:
    sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.component
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Addictive Drums 2.component: replacing existing signature

Is there anyone that can tell me where the LicenseOI.txt is located in Windows 10?
