Before upgrading to El Capitan OSX I had no problem registering Toontrack software with the r2r crack

Now it always says the file is not valid when using the R2R keygen.. For some reason I believe my computer is different as well since updating to El Capitan

any help appreciated

I don't suppose you have a TM backup from before you upgraded to Mavericks? My advice to you is to either upgrade EZDrummer 1/EZX 1/EZMix 1-2/EZKey 1 to the newest version available on the sister site or elsewhere ... or revert back to Lion (or even Snow Leopard), uninstall, then reinstall and re-register all your old Toontrack software, then re-upgrade to Mavericks. For some reason, I've found that installing older Toontrack software on anything more recent than Lion moves things (like licenses) to places where the software can't find them properly. You may also want to try turning you OS security off (Google how to do this) before installing.

I have EZ Drummer 2 with current update that's legit.

When using the R2R keygen and I create the file on my windows pc I put it on my Mac and point Toontrack to the file it say
invalid file

 

Ah! Try downloading KeyGenRunner (Google it) on your Mac. It's a very basic version of Wine that will let you run most Windoze keygens on your Mac. You should be able to run the R2R keygen on the same computer you have your Toontrack software installed, which might help solve your problem.

I ran the keygen on my mac made the file with the generated file.
EZX DreamPop still says not the correct file...
I was incorrect above, I'm still on El Capitan and not Mavericks...I haven't updated due to the reported
bugs with Mav,,

Like I said above, I was having problems with the keygen at any point after Lion, like EZDrummer was having problems putting the activation in the right spot and wasn't able to authorize properly. My solution was to go back to Lion, reinstall all my Toontrack stuff and reauthorize, then upgrade again to El Capitan. In your case, it might just be a problem with SIP (I know, I know, I keep throwing stuff out there). Go here, follow the steps to deactivate SIP, try reauthorizing your EZX or any other Toontrack software, and, if you want, you can easily reactivate SIP once you authorize everything (or if it doesn't work).

 

Open terminal.and type
sudo chmod -R 777 "drag and drop the kegen file "
