    Hello everyone,

I need advice about which PSU is better

Gigabyte GP-P750GM 750W Gold Fully Modular PSU at 107$
    or
Cooler Master MWE 750W MPE-7501-AFAAG V2 Gold Efficiency Fully Modular PSU (Active PFC/ 90% Efficiency ) at 110$

please don't suggest other brands or types as these are the only two available here in my country
I only know that the Gigabyte looks better :dunno:

Any help is much appreciated. cheers

I would recommend that you check out some of the bad press and YouTube videos about the Gigabyte GP-P750GM. It seems to have a high failure rate (exploding) and Gigabyte has not handled it well at all with their customers. Gamers Nexus, Linus Tech Tips, and other press have demonstrated and reported on the issues with this particular PSU. I'm also in the market for a PSU, and would not even consider a Gigabyte. For what is worth (not much, but) I have a system with a Cooler Master 450 that's been running 24/7 for 8 years with no problems at all, though not at a heavy load.

These are easy to find on YouTube:
At around 17 minutes it blows

I will go for a larger PSU allways (1200 watts instead of 750 watts)

Gigabyte GP-P750GM Power Supply Review: Lacking the Explosive Character
Gigabyte's new GP-P750GM is less prone to fire, but still faces tough competition.

Cooler Master MWE 750W MPE-7501-AFAAG V2 Gold Efficiency Fully Modular PSU (Active PFC/ 90% Efficiency ) at 110$
