    Hi everyone!
I love Battlefield music, is truly incredible. Both those orchestral of BF1/5 and BF3/4.
Can anyone tell me, please, which instruments are used in precise parts of this song?

I can't figure out which orchestral instrument/s is used at 0:28 minutes. The arpeggio I think is High Strings, but is the melody a combination of Horn Brass -1oct and Strings +1oct? I tried different combinations but never played like in the song.
At 1:09 is the Horn Brass solo, right? Because with Horns Instruments of "Native Instruments Symphony Essentials Brass Ensemble" for KONTAKT, the sound seems exactly the same.
    Any advice is appreciated. :mates:

Sorry for my bad English and thanks in advance.

    Listening from phone.
Bramming thing are trombones and could be horns.
Don't expect your libraries to be able to transcribe music as it is, unless you know 100% what libraries are used, and also knowing full midi.
By ear, there is no possibility to transcribe all in orchestral music, reason is that many instrument sound similar, getting dynamics involved even more.

I work 5 years with orchestral music, and I still know nothing.
Welcome to decades journey, if you are n.ew in this.

I agree that cinebrass can do the job

What do you mean? Waves SSL series is emulation of the SSL hardware.

    Hello,

I hear, from 0:28, 1. High strings in the chord, and several additional violins on the right Panorama, with the strings are trombones and trumpets, right on the outside a tuba and trombone together with a deep octave, then later in song, at runs a legato violins, high strings are more in background, forground is trumpets and trombones in big akkord, the big drum rythm is important for this epic sound at middle in the song, without this, it would be rather romance rather than epic.

I have the SSL 4000G console here in front of me (the API 1608 is in the other CR), but this big thing doesn't come with presets. I'm screwed.

You have pulsating synth in there that does 90% of the frequencies registry.
On 0:28 you have tubas, trombones and trumpets, laying together on chords.

Indeed, this was what I was looking for: the combined instruments to get this kind of sound . I'll try it as soon as I'm in the studio.
But anyway, the sound in the clip sounds very similar and could be what the sound will do, in combination with trombones and tubas.
As for braaming, Impact Suondworks Mega Brass is very good.
Thank you so much, Esteros!
