I'm trying to get into hardware synths, so I've picked up an RME FF800 (10 analog mono inputs).

    I'll be using FL Studio 12 along with the FF800, with 2x Jp8080, a microkorg & 2x bass station ii's.

I have no idea how I will route my stereo gear ( the jp-8080s & the microkorg) with the FL mixer.

Up until now, I've been using the Mackie Onyx 1220i, which has 4 mono & 4 dedicated stereo channels. But I've "upgraded" to the FF800 & I know there is a way, I just haven't found it yet...

Say I have a stereo supersaw from a jp-8080 & i want that sidechained to a kick, fairly simple idea... but would i need to set up a compressor for both input channels (jp 8080 left & right)?

there has to be a way to "link" two FL mixer channels, where two channels "act as one", but I haven't figured out how to yet.

like where RME interface in1 feeds FL mixer ch.1...and RME interface in2 feeds FL mixer ch.2... but route them where their audio is only reading on a single FL mixer channel.

I've looked all over youtube & forums, but all I ever see is stuff about soft synths & never anything about routing stereo hardware synths.

thanks for any help you can give, I'll be completely bald after I get this figured out lol
