I would like to create a bassline like this.
Unfortunately I do not get the desired result and I do not know exactly why.
I don't understand the pattern, in itself it's not a difficult pattern but something about it always sounds different from mine.

could someone explain me the rhythm of the bass or the pattern.
    greetings

The pattern (rhythm) of the bass seem quite simple, like a reggaeton snare pattern. Sound design wise it's way low passed (similar to the kick) and it has not much decay so it sound more percussive. Then to my ears it go up in pitch on the bars 2 and 4. Then sidechained to the kick and possibly with a little bit of swing. I think the trick here is to make it matches the kick so they sound similar.

thank you very much , but i dont get the Rhytmic Pattern of the Bass .
i mean is it a Kick or the Bass that are playing , and when changes the bass the Notes , its realy hard to hear the difference .
Maybe its so confusing to me because this is absolutely not my Genre .

this is the first time i want to program a bassline in this way.
I usually use 808's and my beats are actually slower.

i hope someone can open the Daw to recreate just the Bass Pattern , then I could understand how the pattern is made , a screenshot would be very useful .

Post your bassline too. It's, you know, kinda hard to tell what's wrong with it without hearing it at least once.

The pattern itself is very simple. Mind the grid (it's in triplets).
I also overshot the tempo by 5-7 BPM, it seems.

I don't know where to start. It's an entirely different bassline. If your goal was to recreate what you posted in the OP, it's completely wrong. Everything's wrong with it.

I posted how the original bassline looks above. That should help you.

If you're on Reaper, stock installation comes with "Audio To MIDI Drum Trigger" which will emit MIDI notes from transients for you. Some gates like ReaGate, G8 and other gate/trigger/replacement plugins will also emit MIDI. Use an EQ before the plugin to reduce unwanted transients - or just manually clean up the MIDI, shouldn't be too much work.

I think the rhythm is some form of tresillo.

If you want the basic pattern, just do what @justwannadownload said. Grey notes are the kicks, red notes are the bass part (although by my ear it's c#, f#, g#.. but you don't care about the exact notes). The kick part is just a simple 4 on the floor. As @Doctor_Me said, there may be some sidechain compression too (sidechain kick to bass), but I'm not entirely sure on that.

Start with the easy part, which is putting the notes down. Kick on every quarter note. The bass line notes pretty close to what @justwannadownload said.. although the 2nd note decays maybe a 16th (triplet) before that full length, I think, and the notes are sharp.. that's the general idea though.

Once you have that, then start worrying about what effects (including sidechain compression, possibly) you need on it.. bass / kick samples/instruments used, etc.

They are definitely about 40-50 cents sharper than just deadass C C F G, but they aren't all the way there.
It really is not that important tho.
