Anyone had success with Black Bundle? When I install I only have the Navy Germanium preset. Folder structure looks like this

    VST3 / Acustica/ Black Bundle

    /BLACKGURU.vst3 (folder)
    /BLACKGURUzl.vst3 (folder)
    /BLACK.vst3 (folder)
    /BLACKDATA (all files fromfrom !COMMON)
    /BLACKZL.vst3 (folder)
    /BLACK GURU.N2S
    /BLACK GURU.XML
    /BLACK GURUZL.XML
    /BLACK.N2S
    /BLACK.XML
    /BLACKZL.XML

    Where did I go wrong?

Did anybody install this using the Framework-R2R method? The NFO just lists a bunch of files that were not necessary but also states that:
But does it and is it noticeable? Are there any other benefits to installing it this way rather than the lazy way or Official way?

EDIT: Installed the Intel oneAPI Runtime directly from Intel (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/oneapi-standalone-components.html) and then installed Framework-R2R and everything is snappy and rock solid with multiple open instances of VST3 plugins in Ableton 11, Win 10 with no crashes or hangs.

I just found out that for the Black Bundle by R2R, VOLUME A isn't included. Only B,C & D. I downloaded it 3 times. 2 times from sister's site and one from the russian tracker. All the files are the same, nothing more or missing and can assume it wasn't included at the first place.

    incomplete.png

    From the list :

    1) A00 - Empty = it should as it's the default empty preset
    2) A06 - Navy Geranium = the Free one that comes with the plugin.
    3) no A01,A02,A03,A04,A05,A07,A08,A09,A10 = you can see from the list, for B,C & D they all have 10 presets for each volume
    4) so no additional VOLUME A at all in the release, hope R2R see this and will do a repack.

I still have the plugin opening with the black bar...VST3 on my desktop, while my newer laptop works fine with exact same install. Acustica says Windows 10 21H1 and above. My desktop has an older version. Anyone have good results with windows older than 21H1?

do you need to copy this folder for each directory so does it need to be in the the vst2? vst3? or just one of them?

you need to this procedure for each plugin and VST (2or3 or both)

of course you dont need to do it like i showed here
it was just to get across how it should look
    meaning
you cant just put the files into 1 folder
the layout of the files and folders is important at least on WIN

    [IMG]https://postimg.cc/q6kbsSHg
all 3 Plugin versions need the files in common to work
so, just choose vst2 or aax or vst3

the !common folder is just named that so we all don't have to download every library X3 or X4 times. The contents of the common folder go with your preferred format.

I'll give step by step for VST3:
Create folder in VST3 path for the plug you're installing:

    ex. C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Acustica\FIRETHEPUMP

drag all contents from !common folder into there
drag all contents from VST3 folder into there

For anyone with Problems or no GUI using the advanced Method:
Try adding the PATH in system enviroment via cmd.

    setx PATH "%PATH%;C:\Program Files\Acustica\Framework"

This was the only method that worked for me.

PS.: Symlinking the Plugins works just fine.
So you can put them anywhere you want.

If you have black screen on the plugs and you are doing Environment Variables (for the "advanced" method) for the first time:

In the menu you find the entry for Path, click edit, and add the path. If you just click 'New...' without editing the entry for Path it will do nothing

Breaking News! Amber doesn't sound like shit! Apparently the plugin is broken and not running properly at 48kHz. 2X OS will fix it and will need your CPU soul for it too.

Use Reaper FX Instance Oversampling or Bluecat Patchworks. Run it at 96kHz and judge the real sound of the plugin. It seems like something is wrong with filtering when running it at 48kHz. The Preamp for all the plugins in Amber bundle sounding like ass on 48kHz. They sound shiny and Hi-Fi as expect on 96kHz. No kidding, try it for yourself and judge. Also kinda need good people of R2R to fix this since Giancarlo abandoned us all.

    Amber.png

    Settings : +2db @ 50Hz, +1db @ 1.3kHz, +4db @ 10kHz

    - the top image showing the right curve for the settings, when the plugin run at 2X OS (96kHz)
    - the bottom image is when using it without OS at 48kHz

here a list of alternative steps to get things running, a friend of mine was so nice to guide me through (this is not my affort - I just collected them and made a nice list)
I hope it is helpful to some of you!

    Step 1:
Download latest Visual C++ redist X64+X86
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
    Run them!
    Step 2:
Run the *Make_APPDATA_Acustica_Dir* command within the Acustica Audio Framework folder you got downloaded
    - Make sure this folder exists C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\Acustica (it should be empty)
    Step 3:
Make sure this folder exists: C:\Program Files\Acustica\Framework
If such a folder does not extist, make it manually.
    Step 4:
In your Windows taskbar, right-click on the Start Button (windows symbol) - Select “System” from the context menu.
Scroll down. Click "Advanced system settings"...
Make sure the ''Advanced'' tab is selected at the top and select 'Environment Variables' at the bottom.
Under ''System Variables'' locate and select ''Path'' and click on ''Edit''.
Click ''New'' and in the part that lets you type, enter ''C:\Program Files\Acustica\Framework''
After finishing: close those windows and reboot PC!
    Step 5:
From the main R2R folder, open the subfolder "Framework-R2R" and its subfolders ''Acustica'' > ''Framework''
    Step 6:
Copy and paste all files from there to the folder perviously created: C:\Program Files\Acustica\Framework
    Step 7:
Go back into the Framework-R2R folder and there should be an installer file ''w_dpcpp_cpp_runtime_p_2024.0.0.49848'' - Run it!
    Step 8:
Let us assume you want to instal VST3 versions - procedure for VST2 should be similar:
In your default VST3 folder make a subfolder ''Acustica Audio''
Inside this folder make a subfolder for any of the Acustica devices you want to add - let*s start with Pumpkin:
Make a subfolder called ''Stupid Pumpkin'' or ''Fire The Pump'' or whatever...
    Step 9:
Now - after extracting it, go to the folder location of ''Acustica.Audio.Fire.The.Pump.2023-R2R''
Copy the contents of both, the ''!COMMON'' and the ''VST3'' folder (THEIR CONTENTS - not the folders themselves!!!) into the
''Fire The Pump'' folder you created previously in VST3.
    Step 10:
Run your DAW - ''Acqua'' folder should appear and within it ''FIRETHEPUMP'' should reside.
(repeat Steps 8-9 for all other Acustica plugins you want to add)

    ENJOY!!!
