Help to activate kontakt libraries in Ableton on Mac

    Hi guys, I'm trying out a crack of Konakt and it works fine by itself but as soon as I load it into Ableton as a vst in Kontakt player it switches to demo mode and asks me to activate. I didn't think this would be a problem because midi was working fine and I was recording some stuff, but after a while it says demo time out, stops working and forces me to activate. Do I need a keygen to generate the serial number for these libraries? Not sure how to fix this. Appreciate any help if you've had this issue also!

    You are using Kontakt Player, not Kontakt... Put a copy of the cracked Kontakt VST in a special folder, name it "VST's for Ableton" or something, and point Ableton to it in the preferences. Works for me. as I have legit and k'd Kontakt running at once...

    I've tried this but it still opens kontakt player in Ableton not Kontakt :(

    Thanks it worked!! Created a new folder with the cracked vst in it like you suggested and now its working!! Thank you soooo much :)

    Glad it worked mate! It's been a great way for me to run some cracked versions of NI with legit, and works like a charm... sucks when you want to use the same in another DAW like PT or Logic, but meh, worry about that later! ;)
