Hi!! A zillion years ago I was commissioned to write and produce a dance track for a singer. I whipped up a foundation for the track, had the singer drop-in some scratch vocals for the chorus, and then TRAGEDY. The project was canceled, and I moved on. The dropbox link below is all I have left. It's a CD quality WAV file. There are no stems or isolated takes of any kind.

Would any members like to chop it up into something? At present, it doesn't work at all. There is emptiness where the verses go. I woke up with this thought . . . maybe someone could slice and dice this into something short and sweet?

If inspired. If you have time. If you think it would be fun and/or a challenge.

I'd be grateful. This track holds sentimental value to me, but it's clearly not finished or listenable in the current state.

PS. The shame is . . . I had a cool melodic phrasing (no words) for the verses (the naked areas with bass and drum). Any rappers or female moaners out there want to/able to drop something in? Just a thought.

you need to revisit the mix, the samples you use, i cant believe you hadnt the opportunity to find some better sounding ones ...watch some tutorials, it will help alot, when i started there where no tutorials to watch, secrets, techniques etc ...later they become more and more popular that nowday it could turn you into a star ...i wish i had the time to show you some things, i simply cannot ...good luck!
