Hi. I think it depends on how permanent you want it to be. I am installing mine in about a month. This is what was recommended to me:

    If permanent: liquid nails:

If non-permanent: velcro picture hanging strips:

Please note these are links to an Australian hardware store. I am sure there will be something similar where you live.

    Good luck mate!!

I used a combination of double-side tape and liquid nails paste.
The double sided tape purpuse being to held the foam in place while the liquid nails dries up.

Assuming you don't want it to be permanent:

    - Get some 1x1 sheets of chipboard (or cut to size)

    - Adhere the foam to the chipboard using liquid nails

    - You can then use a double sided adhesive tape to attach the squares to the wall which can be removed relatively easily

    hello, Kwissbeats,

the (somewhat old) sound on sound magazine tip, trick...
after measuring the vertical center (or gravity or weight point) line on the back of the panel, glue one (or two if the width is the greater size) used or bad compact disc on it, then hang the panel using the hole of the disc with one small nail or anything that can be fixed with liquid glue etc. without making big craters on your wall after removing it... *yes*

wish you the most beautifully hanging acoustic panels, plus all the best...

Also, if going into drywall, T-pins (from a fabric or craft store) work great too

Auralex comes with a caulk gun type tube of adhesive. There are special adhesives for foam.

For foam there are specialty glues but PVA (polyvinyl acetate) glue works just fine. Make sure you find something to press against the foam as it takes a few hours to bind properly. I've used it for years and it is actually possible to carefully remove the foam sheets if you want them reapplied elsewhere.
