    Hi,

I’ve had these samples for many years, but I no longer remember which library they originally came from. Since the filenames were changed, I don’t have any useful keywords to search for online.

According to the metadata, the samples are from at least 2001 and were published by Zero-G Ltd. I know they are no later than 2003, because I recognized one of them in a track released that year.

Here’s the track where one of the samples appears (min. 2:13):

Any help identifying the original library would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: I already asked Zero-G directly, but they couldn't help me. I've also searched the famous 90s sample CD repository on the internet, but I haven't been able to find it.

Here is a list of notable Zero-G sample libraries released up to 2005, compiled from catalog sources, specialist forums, and product archives:

    Datafile Series (Vol. 1–3)
Hugely influential, released from 1991 onward, central for early 90s electronic music. The series also included special formats for the AKAI S1000 and DJ-friendly vinyl editions.

    Cuckooland Series
Early, experimental and ambient-oriented sound collections.

    Planet of the Breaks
Focused on breakbeat and drum loops, released pre-2005.

    Ethnic Flavours
Wide-ranging library of world music instruments and loops, released before 2005.

    Nostalgia
Large set of classic and vintage synth, drum, and sample sounds.

    Afrolatin Slam
    African, Latin, and fusion loops.

    Celtic
Traditional Celtic instrumental and loop performances.

    Deepest India
Loops and samples from Indian and South Asian music traditions.

    Flamenco Sounds
Authentic Spanish flamenco guitar and percussion.

    Ethnic Vol. 1 & 2
Diverse world instrument and percussion loops, both before 2005.

    Middle Eastern Sounds
Instruments and loops from the Middle East and North Africa.

    Sounds of Polynesia
South Pacific and Polynesian instruments and loops.

    Ambient Vol. 1 & 2
Atmospheric soundscapes and pad samples, released in the 90s and early 2000s.

    Classical Collection
    Multisampled orchestral and classical sounds.

    Total House
House music loops and construction kits.

    Cyberworld
    Vocal XTC
    Trance Nation
    Techno Tools
    House Fabrik
    Akoustik Guitarist
    Analogue Sequencer Loops

    Additional notes:
Many of these were originally released on Audio CD or CD-ROM, sometimes with later digital re-issues for DAWs.
Compilations like the World Pack (2005) bundled previously released libraries including Afrolatin Slam, Celtic, Deepest India, Flamenco Sounds, Middle Eastern Sounds, Sounds of Polynesia, and both Ethnic Volumes.

Licensing for early products (especially Datafile Series) can be legally ambiguous today regarding commercial use.
While this is not a complete catalog, it covers nearly all of Zero-G’s major and widely used releases up to 2005 and reflects what is documented in public archives and community memory for that period.

There was one called Zero-G Quadro Hardcore released in 2001. There is also one from 2010 called Zero-G Hardcore. There were also the 2 Datafile sample packs.

That is correct. They are from late 90's. I would guess Quadro Hardcore based on the 2001 release date, but it sounds like gabber more than this track. Club Techno is from 2007, and sounds like the samples would fit best from that pack. I'd just get them all, with the price being right; so to speak.
