    Hello!
This might be quite a noobish question, but as I already did some research and failed to find clear answers, i am now turning to this forum in hope of someone pointing me in the right direction.
I bought a Soundcraft Ghost 32 LE in order to route up to 32 channels out of my daw and via the antelope orion32+ into the ghost to do mixing and summing there and then the stereo sum back into the daw for recording.

I cant figure out if i should use
DB25 to XLRm for example: https://www.thomann.de/at/digidesign...igisnake_4.htm
    or
    DB25 to TRS for example:
    https://www.thomann.de/at/digidesign...igisnake_4.htm

Both would be possible and except for the 48V option for Mic input the signal is going the same path through the mixer (as far as i read in the manual page46).

Is there any advantage in using xlr over 1/4" jack?

thanks in advance for replies [IMG]
