hi there hope u doing well.

ive got my FM8 legit from Native Instruments, in my studio one 5 artist some times works normally, others times like when i re install windows , make trouble... i mean my problem its the FM8, its ALWAYS on blacklist by studio one... i try various things...
    -reset blacklist and restarrt
-modify the file as txt file to apply a "1" , then open studio one and nothing... still stuck when searching, on FM8 and FM8 FX, when its done , its on the blacklist again.
-its in the correct path file to search, studio one just recently implement it.
waht i have to do to recognize it in my daw?

    Studio One Blocklist Reset Guide

To make Studio One rescan a plugin that previous had problems, you'll have to reset it's plug-in blocklist and restart the DAW so that it scans through those plugins again. You can find this in Preferences > Locations > VST Plug-Ins as shown below.

    2022-11-26_120733.jpg

Note for Windows users: The directory in the "Locations" list will be different.
Unless you have a custom VST location, it should contain "C:\Program Files\Vstplugins".

Click the Reset Blocklist button, and confirm the pop up message. Make sure Scan at startup is enabled, and then restart
Studio One. The plug-in should be scanned and if it's not activated yet, the activation pop-up window will appear.

also with windows, some vst plugins will default to "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins" make sure S1 reads this folder as well (VST2)

I guess it is because of the 32 bit plugins. I would uninstall the 32 bit.

If it still doesn't work then I would also reinstall FM8 completely.
Clean the system with CCleaner, restart the PC and then reinstall again.

How To Add Plugin Paths & Reset Blacklist In Studio One

    WINDOWS USERS ONLY

To add the Slate Digital default VST2 plugin path in Studio One 3, please go to the "Studio One" drop down menu and select "Options".

Select the "Locations" tab and select "VST Plugins". Click "Add" to navigate to the following plugin path(s)→

If you are running Studio One in 64bit: C:\Program Files\Vstplugins
If you are running Studio One in 32bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins

    Additional Troubleshooting
In some cases you will need to force Studio One to rescan all plugins at start-up. To do this you'll need to navigate to "C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\<Studio One version>" and temporarily relocate the "x64" folder. This will clear your Studio One preferences and manually force Studio One to rescan all your VST Plugins.

hey i found the solution if anyone have this bug too its too weird... but here it is:

Activating or de-activating "Beta: Use UTF-8 for worldwide language support".

///This can be found in Windows under **///

Windows Start > Settings> Time & Language> “Date, time, & regional formatting ”>“ Additional date, time, & region settings ”> Region> Administrative> Change system locale.

this worked for me... wtf this error¡¡?''¿'?'?¿'¿
    well... now i can rest.

im using w10 pro 64x and studio one 5 artist.
