So I've been lurking around here for a few months now, and I must say it's a pretty cool place. I'm part of a group dedicated to finding original instrument sources used in video game music, and I ended up sending myself down a rabbit hole of scouring the internet just to get some software/VSTs. At the same time however, it's pretty fun listening to sounds and experimenting around with different things. With all that out of the way, I hope you welcome this new and aspiring user!

Thanks you guys! Now, if I'm being honest, I haven't actually created a full beat yet...
Despite the fact that I have tons and tons of sample libraries and VSTs, I've only found myself using a small fraction of them, namely the Korg Triton, the rare and elusive Best Service Gigapack, and some others. I've completely lost track of how much stuff I have since my system is mostly a disorganized mess of files.

There's not a broad selection of VSTs that offer the exact sounds (depending of the era),
and it's not that easy to outline, since (I guess) many professional composers/producers used Racks or very featured Hardware Synths..

Well let's see, here's what I have at the moment (probably going to change as I'm always getting new stuff):
    The Korg Legacy Collection
    Some Roland Cloud stuff
Omnisphere, Trilian, Keyscape, and Stylus RMX
    Kontakt (full version)
    FM8
Some unofficial BeatMachine VSTs (the U-20 and R-8M)
...and quite a few norCtrack libraries (Fantom X, XP-80, Trinity, and TS-12)
I should mention that I got almost all the stuff from audioz.
In addition, this is just my most notable stuff, I have much more than just this.
