Watermarked Free Loops.........WTF

 

Where are you seeing that in relation to these loops?

 

It´s actually watermarked if you refer to the fact its downloaded via Continuata, so popeye has a point!

Good question indeed!! I just wonder why Heavyocity let us get the:

• 3.68 GB uncompressed
• Presented in WAV, REX and Apple Loops Formats
• 60 melodic loops from AEON
• 250+ percussion loops from DM-307

for free and then choose to watermark them!

If they´ll really do a big thing out of it (if someone actually share these loops etc. to the public or like)..... I have no idear!!!

NB: 3.68 GB uncompressed loops of their well selling (original Kontakt) libraries is indeed a gesture to people, but Im afraid they have twisted "Free" from "Controlled"!

Phloopy, my friend. Not looking for an argument either.
I'm just trying to understand the rub. Personally, I have no problem with a set of newly created loops from Heavyocity using AEON and DM-307. Watermarking means nothing to me in this case. As an aside, I legitimately own everything that Heavyocity has ever released - so maybe that is a factor for my "I don't care" attitude.

To each his own. Download them, don't download them... It's all good!
