    Hello

A valid question came ump the other day in the studio, which was is it best (say for example you have KRK speakers) to use KRK headphones when listening to a mix or to use a different brand of headphones...my answer would be use a different brand of headphones so you can hear how the mix translates between your KRK speakers and the other branded headphones...thoughts?

Use your headphones to check out your mix until you are comfortable where it is at. Then check on other devices or loudspeakers/monitors.

This advice is for you specifically. Your headphones will be closest in "translation" to any equipment that you do not understand yet. You have to actually calibrate some things with monitors. Stick to your headphones and then see how other things go.

"Brand Matching" is nearly meaningless in audio.
