At the top center you can add your heaphone under "Select Calibration Profile"... if that was your question?

follow the text file in the R2R folder exactly.

    From r2r text file

0.Make sure that your SoundID-Reference is already activated.

    1.Run our keygen on Windows.
    Click "Generate Profile".

2.Click "Load Current License File" or manually fill the ComputerID.

3.Click "Generate Profile for This ComputerID".
It asks you to open "Headphone Profile Source (*.swhpsrc)".
Those source files are included in this release.
Open the source file you want to use.

Our keygen generates valid profile for your computer.
It asks you to save "Headphone Profile (*.swhp)".
Save the file to any location.

    4.Run SoundID-Reference.
Import profile (*.swhp) which you generated.

    5.Enjoy! (This one is important)

thanks for replies. i have followed text correctly.
i have the app open,on top left it says "soundid reference, centre it says "add output first" with a dropdown menu there is no "select calibration profile" button anywhere.

    Because add output first

And vst version didn't ask for output because it used output from you DAW

ok,so i tried to set outputs up,i just want to check with you guys. im using a saffire pro 24 interface
so select device type WASAPI OR ASIO i take it i select ASIO.
It then gives me option to select ASIO Saffire. i do that and PRO24 MON1 and MON2 comes up in left and right, but when i select play test signal i hear nothing.
in select driver type i selected both virtual ASIO to ASIO driver, and virtual windows audio to ASIO driver(which of these should i choose?)
i get no sound on test signal when i select either
if i go back and select WASAPI as device type, and the speakers(saffire audio) channel 1 and channel 2 comes up in left and right. i can hear audio when i play test signal here.driver type virtual windows audio driver(thats only option here)
why cant i hear audio in the way i think it should be set up?

my output on master is almost 12db quieter when i use the profile for my headphones compared to if i bypass sound id.
    does that seem right?

so with safe headroom enable i can move the volume up to -8.1 with it disabled i can put up to 0.0
so i put it up to zero correct?
now its 2.2 db louder with id on compared to when disabled.
do i bring volume down on id by -2.2?

Yes, because safe headroom locking volume and you can't move fader higher than safe headroom.
When you disable safe headroom fader is unlocked but you also need to move fader for the difference.

it depends what are your settings. Check the loud track and set fader in the position which it will not clipping.
