    Hey, folks.
My hard drive is running out of the room and I need compress the files. What I've failed to compress is Ample Guitars version 3. Although you compress it, it doesn't reduce the size. I think it's because the library is already compressed as pkg format.
Is there any way to compress them dramatically?

That's a good suggestion, but 10 GB is less than two Ample Sound guitars. It's been a while since I've used it, but I think registering gives you 50 GB of space, which is much more useful.

Just checked my free account, it's 50GB. It even says so in your link, 'With up to 50 GB of free space'. Maybe the 10 GB limit is for unregistered users.

You mean safe when you pay money. I don't pay anything and get 10 GB. I am very happy with MediaFire.

I have a free MediaFire account, I pay no money for it and never have, it gives me 50 GB of storage. You may only have 10 GB, but for whatever reasons I have 50 GB. That's how it is.

Congratulations on 50 GB. Is probably different from country to country.

Maybe so, that might explain the difference in storage space. Regardless, the original suggestion of the OP storing data in the cloud is a good one.

You could of course burn the data on blanks or buy a second hard drive.

from the mediafire website: "With up to 50GB of free space, you can use MediaFire to back up all your important files – even your not-so-important ones too."

key words: "up to" i think it probably varies by country also.

I've always had just 10GB on new accounts, but you can get more than 10GB if people sign up with your referral link. You get an extra GB for each registration using your referral link. I've used a few temporary email providers to sign up for new accounts using one of my links to get my accounts above the 10GB limit.
