    Mixer Store / Recall
Store your knob settings to a file, and selectively recall those settings back to your mixer.

Click "Track->Mix Tools->Mixer Recall" in the main menu to access this great new feature!

    • Stash your mixer settings ( like: “before lunch mix") and recover those settings later … while leaving your edits intact.
    • Collect track settings from your friends, and share them.
    • Copy your mixer settings from one section ( “chorus” ) to another section, or even another song in a different session.
    • Apply your favorite “vocal channel” settings to any track, any time.
    • Store your track settings, and mixbuses with group effects and reverb/delay effects, as a preset. Then apply your setup to any session - new or old - so you can work with your favorite setup.
    • Apply the mix from one song to the other songs. Select all the tracks to import, or just a single track ("lead vocal")
    Track Organizer

Show all your tracks in one convenient dialog so you can rename, group, and color them quickly with pulldown menus.
    Reset Mixer
Resets any combination of mixer settings: Fader, EQ, Compression, Bussing, Plugins, etc : so you can start a new mix.

    Plugin Tags
Plugins may now be assigned tags ( like Categories, but better! )

    • Tag your favorite drum plugins with "drums" for easy searching.
    • Harrison has pre-tagged over 3,000 of the most popular plugins for your convenience!

    Improved Snap+Grid Editing

Snap to multiple targets simultaneously, and set the Gridseparately.
    • Snap can be set to multiple options: markers, region start/ends, and/or the grid... or choose more than one "snap" option simultaneously.
    • Grid will draw lines at selected intervals, and it zooms sensibly when you zoom in (for fine work) or zoom out (for copying sections of a song around). You can snap to the visible grid; or you can just use it as a visual reference, but disable "snapping".
    Control Surfaces

Improved support for more control-surfaces: Presonus Faderport (new 2018 model), Faderport8, Faderport16, Tascam US-2400, Steinberg CC-121, Qcon iCon.

Generic MIDI control surfaces can be configured to follow the currently-selected channel EQ, Sends, and compressor knobs.

    New Mixer layout
    • Mixbus and VCA sections are now separately resizable, and scroll-able.
    • In addition to the old method of hiding and showing mixbus and VCA strips, you can show them all, and scroll through the list horizontally.
    • New colors and drop-shadows were added to the main editor/mixer windows.
    • The editor tools are arranged more sensibly, and the "zoom" menus are separated on the right half of the toolbar.
    • MIDI Note Velocity can be shown as a bar inside the midi note.
    • Hundreds of minor improvements and bug-fixes including:
      • Features:
        • Added 350+ more MIDI patchfiles ( for external midi synths & devices )
        • Clock can now show delta from Session Start marker
        • If multiple tracks are selected in the editor, selecting a Color will apply to all selected tracks.
        • Floating Transport window
          • A floating transport window that provides basic transport controls
          • Resizable, so it is touch-friendly
        • x42’s Rotary Speaker plugin is now bundled inside Mixbus ( requires purchase of a separate license from x42 )
      • Improvements:

          • Mixbus now assumes that controls with a step-size of 1 are switches

SPECIAL GIFT: ONLY for Mixbus32C owners:

Upgrade your copy of Mixbus32C to v5 today, and get a FREE copy of Harrison's new AVA LegacyQ Equalizer plugin.

Harrison’s reputation for “True Analog In-The-Box” sound is due to our unique development heritage: we first created an analog console processor and then converted the processor to digital while retaining the sound and character of the original analog console.

The new AVA LegacyQ is a plugin version of our original MPC digital equalizer: an EQ that began as a digitally-controlled analog circuit, and was later adapted to digital while being used in ultra high-end post & film facilities worldwide.

Like the original, the AVA LegacyQ is optimized for use with control surfaces: each band covers a limited range equivalent to its original analog counterpart, and the “Q” shape is designed to optimally match the operating range of a physical knob.

A high-resolution spectrum analyzer is provided to pinpoint specific frequencies that need adjustment.

The LegacyQ is a cross-format plugin which supports the following platforms and formats:

    • AAX : Mac, Windows
    • VST3 : Mac, Windows
    • VST : Mac, Windows, Linux
    • AudioUnit : Mac
    Features:

    • Harrison's renowned original MPC EQ - never before available in a plugin format.
    • 5 fully parametric EQ bands with selectable shapes.
    • 2 high-order "filter" bands that provide steep filtering and Harrison's wide-bottom notch shapes for demanding clean-up tasks.
    • High-precision, RTA spectrum analyzer can be enabled to recognize trouble spots.
    • Zero-latency processing suitable for “live” use.
    • EQ curve appears on ProTools mixer strip. (AAX format only)

The results are quintessentially Harrison: effortless, smooth and transparent. "
