Are there plugins that generates midi notes with harmony? Say, you are making double guitar sound with two tracks. You made the melody and wanna add another track for harmony.
I'm not asking something like Waves Harmony or Antares Harmony Engine, because they don't generate midi notes.

 

Rapid Composer by this company called Music developments generates midi notes with harmony and also Synfire 2 Sparks from this company called Cognitone also another one like Orb Composer Producer suite 3 all of them do it also

 

I think you should check out EZkeys2. It has a "bandmate" function and chord suggestions. You can load a wav file into bandmate, or drop a midi into it. It may be the easiest to work with tool like this I have seen. It is not advanced as Scaler, but it could replace Scaler for "lighter" users of it who do not need the complexity of Scaler.

 

you on point i actually own Ez keys 2 .... i would say that Ez-keys 2 does the harmonizing with the melody
better now that im thinking about it because of the new A.I. it has

 

Tonica Fugata is good for harmonies. It's ancient but it's really impressive.

 

What about duplicating and transposing (for instance by a fifth) within a given scale? Any modern DAW should be able to do this - unless you're using very exotic scales, that is.

 

scaler 2+ midi note transpose. put the midi note transpose to where you want ,+3, -4 whatever then put scaler behind it and set the scale you want and in the upper right hand corner set the keys lock to take the notes out of scale and correct them. then record that midi out.
