Id like to expand my setup with some toys and am looking into hardware sequencers

Cheapest i found is the arturia beatstep, maybe there are some other cheap ones which are good

In any case, what i want to do with it is to control pitch in HZ not by note data.

Is it in any way possible to do this with a hardware sequencer and for example ableton?

You can buy a Behringer BCR2000 and put a Zaquencer.
But I recommend Squarp Pyramid, not cheap, but ultra mega powerfull.

Now that is serioulsy cool, but the firmware costs more then a used BCR :)
Will still consider it as this is way better then a beatstep

Still, one wish remains, can i sequence "out of tune" frequencies? Like not constricted to 88 steps of MIDI notes.
Guess its not possible but id like to ask

Unfortunately not today. I bought PYRAMID when it went on sale and I was enjoying it until recently.
For reasons of my life, I have sold all the hardware ....
For my PYRAMID is great, beastly, you can do everything.
Although it has a rectangly design, I do not care.:mates:
