Try installing my version first. If it still freezes, then the problem isn't with the software, but with your PC.

 

Oh really? Extract the .dll from this H2O release and see if it works "Dash Signature ComboSister VSTi 1.40"
It doesn't. I can get the installer to work but the extracted .dll is useless.

 

for these old sytrns Java SE 8. The .NET Framework 4.8 are non needed
all other rubish you dont need too, only VC++ runtimes

Post me in PM the files I'll look what installer does and we shall do all of that needed manually

Most likely, the installer adds the key to the registry itself.

Well, but unpacker on your DASH release worked ok. And installer worked for me too I was talking only about unpakers and it was just the first step and the easiest for the topic starter

I'm actually having this EXACT same problem, but with a hypersonic 1 install instead that's still from the H2O team. Whenever I open it, it freezes while the setup opens and stays frozen.

 

Try installing this version from the sister site:

Steinberg Hypersonic VSTi DXi 2.0 INTERNAL
06.2010 | TEAM AiR | PC | 1.28 GB

 

The only problem is that I'm specifically trying to obtain hypersonic 1. There is an install of hypersonic 1 that steinberg provides but that one requires a serial number, and i'm pretty sure that H2O's installers patch the vst to not have to use something like a keygen. whenever I use the H2O installer it gets frozen. and tha's the 1.2 version and 1.0 version that have this problem.

 

right H2O key is probably built in the installer again
