hi there. I´m on Logic 10.2
i have some loops from primeloops. Tropical House.
    Wav 24bit

wanted to change from 100 bpm to 125 bpm.

i figured out, that the flex works, when i make the BPM of the project the same as the bpm of my loop. Then i can flex. and then i can turn back to 125bpm

but when my project is 125bpm and i put a 100 bpm loop in there, i can not flex.
    It makes nothing.

Is this a bug, or do i miss something?

    Thanks

If you double click the sample in logic it opens sample editor at the bottom if you have flex Time turned on you can change the Bpm of sample to match the tempo of you track . Here's a link how to do it have a read

Flex the loop to Rhythmic or slicing when you are in flex mode at your original tempo as you say 'the BPM of the project the same as the bpm of my loop' .After applying your flex mode then change the project tempo to 125 Bpm.You have to do this in the same project. You cannot do this in another project and then paste or import the loop into your original project. It doesn't work that way.Changing of the loop ( in your case 100 Bpm)has to be done in the same project(your 125 Bpm Project) that you are going to use the loop in.
1.When you are in the 125 Bpm proj...mute all tracks ...
2.Change proj tempo to 100 bpm and drag your 100 bpm loop into your proj.
3.Flex your loop.Rhythmic or slicing...depending on the loop
4.Change proj tempo back to 125 Bpm.Listen to the loop in solo mode.
5.Unmute all the other tracks and play.
If that doesn't work then either you are doing something wrong or there is a bug.
    Hope this works for you.Cheers:wink:

it was new to me, that the bpm of the project must ne the bpm of the loop for flexing

wasn't easier just drag the end of the loop to the correct bar??

I'm coming from studio one and i was suprised that the function works also in Logic. well for me is ALT + drag the end of the file.
