    On a second note, Soundcloud really needs to incorporate healthy loudness levels, what are they targeting these days, fucking -5 LUFS?

    Cool stuff bro, but you are still not cutting enough of low end on all those tracks, especially the guitars.
    You wont be able to get good clarity and instrument separation until you start doing that.

    Agreed. I've redone everything, and I think it's better. I'll repost one tomorrow for you to listen to a "now" version and see if I'm headed in the right direction.

    I finally put a sub in my truck, and it's really been a help as a sanity check for the low end. Multi-system reference checks are a bitch, lol.

    Reference your material with some well mixed hard rock albums. Also cut off the low end on reverbs if you are using it. :metal:

    My latest... well, actually it's not my lastest production. I recorded this back in May. When I'm too busy to complete new material I will sometimes release old tracks to keep my SC active. I don't plan on running out because I have 2,200 other songs where that came from (many of which are just 30-120 second snippets).

    I highly suggest skipping to about 1:55 into the song if the beginning bores you, because about 1:56 in is when it gets nice and moving...
