    Hello everyone!
We did a full Welcome To The Jungle cover and I (the singer) mixed it.
It would be great to hear your feedback.
I started learning to mix one year ago but never really heard opinions of more experienced people.

It's my first post in the forum, hope I am posting in the right session of this site.

    Welcome to the Forum...
I am no expert, just a beginner also, but here is what I hear.
It sounds like a great "live" recording but only an average studio mix.
The drums and vocals need more mixing work, start with the drums they sounded the worst to me.
The guitars were very good and the overall levels of band were good.
Maybe upload a high quality file (wav, flac, etc.) if you want some of the members to give you feedback.
Overall very good for someone who has only been mixing such a short time, you will only get better with time.:like:

I'd focus on the kick drum, first. It sounds like you added a widener to it?

Whatever happened at 3:20 is not good. Mostly bass problems. I think the problem is the playing on the take, more than the mixing of it.

I'm not a professional either, but I'll give you my opinion.

this what Molly_ Lee said" It sounds like a great "live" recording but only an average studio mix.

There's a part where the guitars sound weird, like out of time with the music, it kind of throws me off focusing on the mix. That makes me hear the guitars a bit weird. Voice for my taste has too much presence or saturation, there's something about it that doesn't convince me.
If you want something really professional, I think you should keep working on it. If it's something for the band, it's not bad.

I agree, there is more of a recording problem than the mix.

I think the kick is wide, and it needs to be more present in the Mid/Side, and with more density. some Kicks seem to disappear later on. Your drummer could be just varying it up. You'd have to look. Some other spots, it seems like snare roll during fills, you could maybe even the volume up on those.
