However it was Eddy who mastered this type of playing so weather we like it or not Eddy is the one .

no comparison between eddie and this guy,eddie made it famous,but he never got to paly it like this,besides eddie got the idea watchingjimmy page.i didn t post the video to start a discussion about who invented what,i still think it doesn t take a genius to have the idea to use a finger of the rhythmick hand on the fretboard,it s pretty normal that everyone tried to do it.but this man was lightyears beyond van halen

Exactly jazz-players have done this since 1930 or maybe even before that..

Anyone how has played guitar and exposed it to MORE than strumming chords will have noticed that you can slap on it with your "picking hand" to create rythm and that you can have notes sounding when you slap on thje fretboard then there is only up to your inagination to what you can come up with..
