Please don't go buying any new gear just to get an exact sound. Tone is far more about how you use your gear than what you have. Even if you have the exact gear that was used on the album, the sound you hear in the room isn't going to sound anything like it does on the album.

What you're hearing on the album is a close mic'd guitar amp that's been double (maybe quad) tracked, eq'd in post, and mixed and mastered with other instruments. It then comes out of your speakers which are changing the sound it their own way.

The sound that was actually coming out of the amp in the studio is likely much different from what you imagine. Trying to make the sound coming out of the amp sound like a studio recording usually leads to players scooping the mids and using way to much gain, which sounds terrible.

If you really want to replicate tones, you're much better off worrying about production than gear. Learning about recording and mixing will get you a lot closer than having the exact gear. A free amp sim plugin can sound amazing if you know what you're doing.

You should also understand that there's more to sounding good than just tone. Really good playing on a well-intonated guitar can often be perceived as good tone. If what you're playing doesn't sound right, you may just not be playing it quite the same. Things like vibrato, pitch, timing, muting technique, and picking technique may be a big part of what's perceived as a guitar player's tone.

I'm willing to bet that a lot of the guitar tones you hear are more similar than you would think when it comes to the sound coming out of the amp. It's how it's recorded, mixed, and mastered that really makes the difference. I'm sure the gear you have is fine, you just need to learn to dial it in properly and have realistic expectations of what it will sound like.
