This is a real '45' cover from Peter and Gordon's not so big hit, written by Paul McCartney. Anyone else find it strange that Lennon wrote a song called 'Woman' only a few years later?

The 'Wrong from the Start' is simply the b-side of the wee record. But wow ... placement was awesome. ;-)

I'm surprised it didn't come with a "...in association with leading religous authorities and your dad..." at the top.

The song title placement is so obviously derogatory/inflamatory - or indeed freudian, 'cos Peter & Gordon do look very cosy together - that it's hard to see it how (even in the 60s) it could have been cleared as was for general release - yet there it is...

I bet they got numerous curiosity sales from grumpy misogynists and/or livid feminists. Perhaps it was simply done as click-bait?

 

Peter and Gordon were a bit odd. It was just an example of Paul gifting his girlfriend's little brother a music career, but I was always fond of their version of World Without Love. If you didn't know, you'd swear it was the Beatles

 

The Byrds, maybe, but definitely not the Beatles.
