    This is not spam
I don't normally post things like this but as for me I have a huge library of samples and music stuff. This might be useful to others as well.

Its something FREE I found that is great for finding space on our hardrives.
Its called wiztree. this next bit is from the website.

"Find the files and folders using the most space on your hard drive - QUICKLY!"
(WizTree is similar to applications like WinDirStat, TreeSize and Folder Size but is MUCH faster)
Works on 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10

Here is the link (the program itself is tiny)
    http://antibody-software.com/web/so...using-the-most-disk-space-on-your-hard-drive/

    How I found this
My wife's Computer has a 250 gb SSD that I had put in a year ago. The other day she got a disk low on space message and I was like wtf no way did she use up that kind of space. She just uses word and a few other things.

Turned out there was 119 gb of cab files in the temp dir. ( I think from a AMD setup/update Program that runs daily) Disk Cleanup did not delete those I ran Disk cleanup the other day to no avail.

    Deleted them life is good.

When I installed this on my music computer I was like oh hell. Here is 400 gigs of rar files I forgot about on this drive / that drive etc. You get the idea. It let my find things to delete quick.

    Hope this helps someone

I recommend "Everything". With this you cany find any file instantaneous.
And of course cleaning temp, recycler and registry every now and then. At least more often than once in a whole year.

makecab.exe does those .cab files in your temp dir. You can check it on the task manager but it's not easy to end that process because probably your services.exe calls it. I usually don't rely on extra softwares and do my cleanup by myself.

So I suggest you to go to "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS" and find the biggest .log file. Mine was around 2 GB when I was dealing that problem. Then delete that .log file and your computer won't make any more huge .cab files.

I just use Dopus, find. Loads of parameters to narrow searches etcs. If most of ur stuff is on SSDs, it's near instantaneous. (Those CBS logs aren't moar than 30Mb, for me.)

My AV has built in space hog finder. Clears browser cache, temp files, etc. For DLers browser cache is usually very fat (no pun intended).
