    High-Resolution Spectrum Analyser
    Excellent Low-End Precision
    Huge Amount Of Control

    GT Analyser

GT Analyser is a high-resolution spectrum analyser plug-in with huge amounts of control and stunning visuals to give you the perfect view of your frequency domain. Best of all, GT Analyser is free!

    Download
No limits, no restrictions, 100% free.

    Latest version: 19.7.0 (July 2019)

GT Analyser is a stunning, high resolution spectrum analyser plug-in with loads of control to allow you to get the perfect view of your frequency domain.

    Settings
Click the settings button in the top-right corner of the plug-in window to take control of the following settings:

    Decay time
Controls how long it takes the signal to decay after a peak. Use longer decay times for a smoother signal, or shorter times for a more accurate signal.

    Hold time
Controls how long peaks will stay at their maximum before decaying. Putting the hold time to the maximum value (10 seconds) will make the peaks hold forever.

    Channels selector
Changes which channels are visible on the spectrum. Use the L and R option to get an idea of the stereo width of your sound or use the average option to get a view of your sound as a whole.

    Ramp
Tilts the signal one way or another (without changing the actual audio signal) to give a more natural look of the frequency content of the sound. Bass frequencies tend to show up as louder in the signal so move the ramp down to account for this.

    Range
Specifies the Decibel range of the spectrum. Set to a smaller range to get a better look at louder frequencies or set to a larger range to see the full extent of your sound.

    Block selector
Changes the block size used to render the spectrum. Smaller blocks have less precision with lower frequencies but faster response times. (Larger block sizes may also affect performance on slower machines).

Big fat dislike for the plugin (not for @mild pump milk, ofc).
    • Hoax super bass precision, just ordinary choice of blocks.
    • GUI not scalable.
    • Colours can not be changed.
    • No peak + rms option.
    • If you want a pink noise to be shown horizontaly, you have to set the ramp to -14 :woot: (in SPAN to +3, which is correct!) and then a pink noise normalized to 0dB has a peak of ~ -30dB! :woot:
    • For Windows vst3 only.
    • First plugin ever that crashed my REAPER within seconds!!!
If you want a way better alternative without all this crap (for free), here you go

Haven't tested yet. Previous version works fine in same Reaper 5.98, win7, x64.
You think they have broken all the stability by improving overall performance?) fixed and broke?

My thanks for this, am looking for something less CPU hungry then other in depth analyzers however more flexible than ableton's Spectrum one.

This totally resolved my confusion regarding the bassy slant on some analyzers also....:woot:

You mean that the low frequencies are shown with a higher level?
This is pretty common. A pink noise, in which all frequencies are perceived at equal loudness, is normally shown with a curve falling by ~3dB per octave.
Seven Phases's analyzer shows it as a horizontal line by default, in SPAN you have to set the Slope value to +3 for this.
