Well , in my opinion..for vocal have much interesant plugins
Elsya compresor...compressor from slate digital is very good for me. One best plugins for eq im listen is surfe eq. Is a inteligent eq . Very good for vocals .from fabfilter a like pro eq 2 .

 

If you have Melda, Fabfilter, Sugar Bytes, Waves, iZotope, Valhalla, XLN Audio, u-He, Spectrasonics, Orange Tree Samples you have almost everything. But what everything is, is a relative thing.

I just know that if suddenly all piracy was over and I had to choose 1 company that it would be Melda.

OK Look people he said hes just starting out. I would choose a plugin that has templates just for vocals to start with because of your experience. Something like Izotope Nectar is perfect because its made just for vocals and have a crap load of presets that you can start with and tweek to your liking. Waves also have vocal plugins that are simple to use for vocals as well like CLA Vocals, JJP Vocals, Maserati VX1, Eddie Kramer Vocal Channel just for starters. All of which you can start from a desired preset and study the setting and then tweak. My opinion is start with Izotope Nectar. It helped me to get a desired sound every time I used it for various type of productions and if you do not want to use presets you dont have to, you can dial in your own settings. All of the suggestions here are good I just believe Nectar will be simple and fast for you.

If i wanna start over again with a simplified plugins folder, i would choose:

- Brainworx Console N/SSL E for mixing
- Ozone 9 for mastering
- Airwindows for everything in between.
