Until now, I have said nothing of my own true opinion on this thread topic.

I have a best friend and companion. In over twenty years, I have never heard her say one bad word about anyone, even when some others have been unkind. She follows no religion. For me, that trait is something to aspire to, because I do not have it in abundance, but I am practicing it.

My opinion is simple. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs as long as they do not try to force it on anyone else. Often, beliefs and intelligence do not go hand in hand. In other words, each to their own.

I'm not entirely sure what this thread has evolved into, and I'm breaking a personal rule here, namely that I don't engage in talk about religion (and/or politics) with random people, especially online, but here goes:

Choosing a religion is basically choosing your DAWs and plug-ins. or eschewing them altogether. Everybody thinks their choice is the best, and talking about other's choices always devolves into either patting the same kind of people on the back, or nasty arguments and name-calling.

Think about it.
