Hello All,

Quick question. For some reason the global quantization in the session view of Live isn't working for me at all. When I select different quantization options from the dropdown menu, absolutely nothing happens or changes. All clips keep playing instantly instead of snapping to the specified beat grid.

All samples I'm using are 128 BPM so it shouldn't be too overly complicated of an issue to fix. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Does anyone know any potential fixes to get my global quantization to work?

I'm running Live 9.7.1 on macOS Sierra incase it matters. Any help offered would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

 

Each clip has it's own quantization settings under Clip Launch. This can be set to Global, which will sync with your Global Quantization you see on the top of the Main page but any other setting will override the global quantization for that clip.

It's possible to highlight and select multiple clips to change these settings simultaneously.
