Just released today. GForce made one of my favourite soft synths, being ImpOSCar2, and their OB-E is epic too, so I have high hopes for this one and it initially looks and sounds amazing!

Its a no brainer at that price!

 

I feel like I've met my old best friend, whom I haven't seen in 20 years.
I'll buy it just for the warm memories

Except https://www.gforcesoftware.com/account/ has been down the whole day (on my end) and I can't log in to upgrade, hopefully they fix it soon.

 

It should be, but technically its gonna require a bit of brain power to remember the plugin exists when the servers finally let us log in :D

 

I don't think it's their servers. I think it's the traffic with the news of this release as their main site is slow to open or inaccessible too! A day or two of waiting ain't gonna harm anyone

 

Seems the upgrade price is so good that they kind of self-DDOS'ed their own servers

ImpOSCar is one of the best SUB BASS synth i ever used
Mini Monsta is a virtual synth legend too

 

I don't visit their site often, but I remember over their black friday sale, the site came to a crawl too. Nothing new here... so yeah, just lots of traffic that their i486 CPU doesn't scale well to handle

 

The website is really slow.

 

I owned the real thing back in 1976 and it sure cost more than a $25 upgrade.
I rode the bus for years because of that and my EMS AKS Synthi.
It was worth it

 

Instant upgrade. As usual for me with GForce. The keys of my v1 were really worn out from being used.


And... it's been a while we hadn't got a "new" Minimoog emulation. We missed it...


As usual a new version with GForce is more or less the same as getting a brand new synth when you see the new features. That's something I really like with them.
