The update works fine, the only problem is the demo version

 

That's odd, it works great for me, no demo versions or any license files needed. Are you running it with Kontakt Player rather than the full version?

 

i havent full version of kontakt player, i use the free version

 

Did anyone else notice any problems with the new P3 samples included in the update? The most obvious thing I noticed is on the 'Main' P3 snare (Snare Eb in the sample pool); at the lower velocities (1 - 45 ish) on the bottom snare mic, the high end sounds like it's been rolled off and makes a noticeable 'psshh' noise when it comes back in again on certain hits. It's quite noticeable. Sucks because it's such an amazingly well tuned/ great sounding snare.

I also felt that the velocities were a little off on the new snares with ghost notes sounding almost as loud as the hard hits. I had to manually add a velocity modulator in order for the low-velocity hits to sound similar to the 'standard' 1.0 version's snares in terms of volume.

Anyone else find this?

 

Very odd, I thought it might have been a Kontakt EQ block added on only the lower samples but seems to be baked in. Yeah I hope they fix that soon!

 

Yepp! And my old GGD Reaper routed project drop me thousands of error while loading. Missing so many files... Wierd.

 

Yeah its loaded with bugs... i got Error on extracting the files from the main Rar... aswell as Errors on old projects \m/ Nice ! lol

 

Yeah I got the error too when I tried unzipping with 'the unarchiver' on mac so tried again with this wayyy better app called Keka and didn't get the error message. Still more little bugs to fix it seems lol! Still the drum samples themselves sound AMAZING so I'm not too bothered!

Aaaand yeah I saw some Youtube peeps posting about those drums, sounds crazy good and yeah would be awesome for another split! We should start a thread if more people are interested!

Not sure on how the licensing works for it, hopefully it's workable, I'll look in to it.

it has SystemID / Serial Number and Auth Code , you needs also to send it via Mail to them to get auth code back . i dont think it will works multiple times to activate it .

Fair enough, I did think that it might have been something a little more complicated, it being its own plugin rather than just samples.

I own the Perfect Drums its a Beast for the New thick power drum sounds..... best thing bout it is you can load your own samples in it.... and all the updates an future Sample packs are free if you own it now \m/ its nothing that i cant do own my own mixing drum sounds and processing but if you need somthin to set in the mix in a hurry>>>> its the best one i own for that purpose cause the sounds are ready out of the box \m/

I wouldn't say they were useless, I've been part of quite a few successful ones here for samples or whatnot that would have taken me a long long time to be able to afford.

If you mean because of licensing/ activation problems then I suppose I agree but otherwise this forum's group buy section has been extremely helpful for me.
