I love Cowboys and Angels truly beautiful song and instrumentation

 

I listened his hits in the day like every other neighbour. But he has my especial sympathy for two reasons:
1. He was another victim of the discographic labels making him look a tough bad-ass macho when he was gay. When he finished his tyrannical contract went all-out with that famous gay-party like video including one police. Double payback for being ticketed for... ahem... an oral job in the park with a "friend"
2. He killed it at the Freddie Mercury homage concert. Someone has said he had a really good voice that shined at concerts.
What's more, and this probably many people don't know especially youngsters: the rest of Queen's members offered him to replace Freddie. Shame on my all-time favorite group...

Always loved Father Figure
Killer song and Porters mix of this is sublime.. such amazing sparse production and vocal sound. Love the middle eastern motif synth line and dreamy Pads (mostly 12 bit S50 & D50 definitely Roland)

Why do you think that sexual preferences are linked to musical preferences?
There are so many "whatever sexual preference" musicians out there. Do you think that I (or any other person)
dives into people's sexual interests to then judge whether they can like a song/artist or not?

You should be able to speak about your personal music preferences without hesitation.

I think the most interesting thing about George Michael was the fact that he was heterosexual until after he did the 'I want your sex' song - the video of which featured his GIRLFRIEND who was clearly a woman and very attractive... Funny how none of that is mentioned by the media nowadays, as if it never happened. I wonder what his ex girlfriends have to say about whether they thought he was 'gay' at the time... LOL.

 

Let us then agree he has been with both men and women.
It was not until his relationship with Kathy Jeung ended that he explored his homosexuality.
But who cares. It is about his music that never had nor has any gender.

 

He never denied the fact that he was with women. There are direct quotes about his heterosexual relationships on his wikipedia page for fuck's sake. It's not a secret, and never has been.

But the day he fell in love with a man for the first time, he realized whatever he felt for the women in his life was nothing compared to the love he felt for a man.
